Fuck Comcast!
Comcast has done it again.

The first time Comcast pissed me off was when they started their ad campaign with the "Slowsky" turtles. I wrote an angry e-mail to Comcast and I honestly do not think they understood what I was trying to say. Anyway, calling the turtles "Slowsky" is offensive to those of the Polish heritage. Slowsky? Are they further perpetuating the stereotype that those of Polish descent are slow? That's what I feel.

The second time that Comcast angered me, it was over their more recent ads. They are painful. I groan EVERY time one comes on the TV. They are so terrible that if I could, I would change cable providers out of spite. It may be the first time in history that an advertisement actually deterred me from purchasing the product advertised. I just wish that Comcast wasn't the only game in town.

And now Comcast is taking away SIX channels from the lineup!!! They are ridding the regular cable lineup of CMT, Tru TV, and a few others. These are two channels I watch on a regular basis. Where else am I going to watch my Forensic Files and Country Fried Home Videos? I am not going to start shelling out extra money to get digital cable. If Comcast is going to take away a part of their service, shouldn't they take away a part of the bill? But if I know anything about huge companies, they'll do nothing but up the cost to the consumer.

Comcast deserves a big FUCK YOU!

As of next week, I will be in training to become a poker dealer! The new poker room will be opening up in late August 2008. I will be trained as a dual-rate supervisor, which means that some days I will be a supervisor and on others I will be dealing. This means that I now need to go shopping and get some business attire. I don't know if I want to get actual suits or if I'll just buy non-suit clothing. But I think I'm going to wait until it's official. (I'll probably end up buying a couple of business suits that can be mixed and matched).

When I get to the poker room, dealers get to keep their own tips, or as we call them in the casino business, "tokes."  (insert pot joke here) I

Not much else to report at this time. Yes, my life is uneventful.

Ok, so I am house-sitting for a woman I used to work with but now my mom works with. I feel like a squatter. They give me money to live at their house while they're gone. Cool!

The weird thing is, I went down to the basement to do laundry and I see all these pieces of art. That's when it hits me. OMG. I went to high school with Linda's daughter! I found some pictures and yes, it is definitely the girl I went to high school with. My friends remember her, too but isn't it strange that I went to a high school so large, that none of my friends, nor myself, knew her personally. The main reason I knew who she was because she was a fine arts student and I took a few art classes in high school.

So I am sleeping with this girl's dog and cat. It's weird to me.

Ok. So it's been a few da...er, months since I've posted or even logged in. But, I miss my Mo'Time.

What's happened?

Well, my car hit 170,000 miles! I love the Tank.

One of my friends got married.

I went to Florida and back.

I'm going to be an aunt.

I'm currently dogsitting. What an adorable dog and cat!

OTher than that, not much else to say.

July, eh? So it's been a while. I'm sorry Motime. It'sjust that I don't seem to have as much free time as I used to. I have since gone to Scranton a couple of times and I've met a few famous people as well. I've also smoked a lot of weed and drank a lot of beer. Electric Six put out themost amazing album I have ever heard and I now work day shift. So, 2007, what a great year. I'm ready to see what 2008 has in store for me. Until next year...
